The Flash MiniLabeler products can be configured to label microplates, tubes, vials, glass slides, circuit boards and a wide array of small products.  Flash-Mini systems are modular, allowing SSI to reconfigure them to suit your exact process.  Systems perform wrap around (tube or package) labeling, tamp labeling and corner-wrap labeling.  Each Flash-Mini includes a 600 dpi thermal transfer print-on-demand label printer unless inkjet marking is specified.  Systems may include part feeders such as bulk-bowl feeders and hoppers, microplate stacks, tube racks or other parts in trays or bulk.  Systems are available with conveyor input and output.  Due to the flexible design of the Flash-Mini. multiple functions such as labeling/marking, dispensing, capping, inspecting, weighing, sorting, etc can be performed within a single system.  For high-throughput applications, multiple units may be placed in-line, connected by conveyors, with each version performing a different function.  Systems can be configured to perform biotech/drug discovery assays with integrated scheduling software.  Vial/tube based versions are especially well suited for clinical laboratory based processes.

What is Flash?  Flash is a flexible robotic system that combines labeling along with a wide range of tasks such as dispensing, capping, sorting, etc.  A single robot performs all of the tasks.  The system is flexible and can vary text and other parameters "on-the-fly".  SSI's software interfaces with your LIMS, Database and Network in order to process the varying content each batch run.   
What is SpeedLine?  Speedline is an extremely high throughput automation system designed to process up to five parts part-per-second.  The systems are based on rotary indexing tables and indexing chains.  The system can label, dispense, cap, assemble, bulk feed, mark and even process the completed parts into shipping containers.

SSI Robotics develops and manufactures custom automated labeling, marking and printing machines for many industries.   We also integrated third party labeling equipment to create completely automation systems.  Applications include labware identification (microtiter plate/microplate labelers, vial, test tube and bottle marking systems), medical device and package labelers, semiconductor and electronics ID, pharmaceutical labeling, and consumer product labeling/packaging.

Technologies include inkjet marking, laser marking, pad printing and single or multi-color thermal transfer printing.   Systems print bar codes (barcodes), graphics and text.  Systems include automatic feeding mechanisms to transfer parts to and from the marking area via stackers, conveyors, tray pick and place systems, robots and other means.
